You could always just hide prizes and choclate eggs as i know some districts do, eliminating plastic eggs all together! You could purchase bulk wooden eggs, paint them and have differant colors mean differant prizes, again reusing them each year. Personally, I think it is wonderful to see you are trying to find alternatives, way to go!
